Project Scheduling
Every project detail is meticulously planned and scheduled long before the project begins.
Construction Begins
This is where we roll up our sleeves and begin building the framework of your vision. This stage includes demolition, drywall, painting, structural work, and installation of flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures. The project manager gets to work overseeing progress, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that the design vision is executed accurately and efficiently.
Project Management
With our detailed process, most decisions are made during the design phase, making the build phase smoother. Our in-house construction staff, led by your project manager, handles the work, schedules, problem-solving, and updates, ensuring your project progresses smoothly. Your project manager makes daily site visits to address any questions or concerns and performs regular quality control inspections to ensure that each day’s work meets our high standards.
Communication
Open communication is crucial for a successful and stress-free remodel. Our project management system, JobTread, plays a major role in all our projects. This app keeps you updated with daily job logs and real-time scheduling. All project information, including scope of work and important specifications, is at your fingertips on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Everyone involved in your project has access to the app, ensuring that all parties stay informed and on track.
Dust Control
Dust and debris are inevitable during a remodel, but we take cleanliness seriously. Proper dust control can significantly reduce the cleanup required during and after your renovation, minimizing stress. We ensure all adjacent and non-construction areas of your home remain undisturbed and clean. We use high-flow air movers, plastic barriers, and ductwork filtration to maintain satisfactory air quality throughout your remodel. At the end of each day, the work area is cleaned by sweeping, vacuuming, and removing trash.
Craftsmanship and Quality
We pride ourselves on craftsmanship and quality. Our skilled carpenters ensure every detail—from straight walls to smooth surfaces and tight miters—is perfect. They are friendly, trustworthy, and treat your home with the utmost respect. Once your permit is approved, we schedule and start your project. Our craftsmen arrive daily, ready to transform your ideas into reality. Your project manager regularly meets with you and the contractors to review progress and address any questions.
Project Completion
This phase involves final inspections, addressing any remaining tasks or issues, and ensuring that the space meets the client’s expectations. We clean the space and present it to the client, marking the end of the construction process.
Warranty Phase
At Stier Design Build, we stand behind our work. The warranty stage of our process typically involves addressing any issues or defects that may arise after project completion. This stage ensures that the client is satisfied with the final result and that any necessary repairs or adjustments are made under the terms of the project warranty.
