How our Interior Design Process Works
1. Consultation
We start by listening. Your goals, your home, your budget, your timeline. It begins with a conversation about what you want and what’s driving the project, so we understand the life the design needs to serve before anyone draws a line.
2. Discovery
We visit your home to measure, photograph, and document the space, then our designers get to work on 2-3 conceptual floor plans. You’ll see them come to life at our showroom, complete with 3D color renderings and initial material visuals, so you can react and we can refine. It’s a collaboration, not a presentation.
3. Project Development
Concepts become a complete plan. Finalized layouts, designer-approved material selections, and the details that turn a good idea into something ready to build. Because our builders are part of the process, what you approve on paper is something we already know we can deliver.

Do I have to do a remodel project to work with your designers?
Most of our design work is part of a complete design-build project, where design and construction come together under one roof. That’s where the model is strongest. That said, we have taken on design as a standalone service in the past, so if you’re after design help on its own, it’s worth a conversation about what you have in mind.
I already have a Pinterest board. Can we start there?
Yes! A Pinterest board or any collection of images you’re drawn to is a great starting point, and it helps our designers understand your taste quickly. If you’d rather start from a blank slate, we’ll put together mood boards of our own to get the conversation going.
How is working with a design-build designer different from hiring an interior designer separately?
When your designer and your builder are the same team, nothing gets lost between two companies. The design is built around your real budget from day one.
Will you help me choose all the finishes and materials?
Absolutely. From cabinetry and countertops to flooring, tile, lighting, paint colors, hardware, and plumbing fixtures, we’ll guide you through every selection. Our goal is to create a home that feels cohesive, timeless, and uniquely yours without the overwhelm of making every decision alone.
What if I don't know my design style?
That’s completely normal. Most homeowners come in with ideas they like but don’t know how to describe them. Through conversations, inspiration images, and thoughtful questions, we’ll help define your style and create a design that feels authentic to your home and the way you live.
How involved will I be in the design process?
As involved as you’d like to be. We’ll guide you through every major decision and keep you informed throughout the process, but you don’t have to have all the answers. Our job is to make the experience enjoyable, organized, and collaborative while taking the stress off your plate.
